Business Pitching Meeting with Indonesian Companies

Yesterday, the Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Johannesburg hosted a business pitching meeting with four Indonesian companies seeking to explore business opportunities and gain a better understanding of the South African market. The participating companies were Lontara Honey, PT Arunika Tama Abadi, PT Nurhayati Indo Cemerlang, and PT Juku Sulawesi. During the session, each company presented its products, business capabilities, and export objectives while receiving insights into South Africa's trade landscape, consumer preferences, import requirements, and market entry strategies. The discussions also highlighted potential opportunities for collaboration with local importers, distributors, and retailers, as well as the importance of building long-term partnerships to successfully enter the South African market. The meeting provided a valuable platform for the Indonesian companies to introduce their products, exchange knowledge, and identify potential business opportunities. It also reinforced ITPC Johannesburg's commitment to supporting Indonesian exporters in expanding their presence in South Africa and strengthening bilateral trade between the two countries.

Decorex Joburg 2026

Decorex Joburg 2026, held from 30 July to 2 August 2026 at the Sandton Convention Centre, concluded successfully after showcasing the latest innovations in interior design, furniture, décor, and lifestyle products. The exhibition brought together designers, architects, retailers, manufacturers, and buyers from across Africa and beyond, providing an important platform for business networking, collaboration, and market expansion. Indonesia participated through a International pavilion coordinated by the Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Johannesburg, with support from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Pretoria and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. The Indonesian delegation featured 5 Indonesian companies, showcasing a diverse range of products, including furniture, home décor, handcrafted accessories, sustainable materials, and lifestyle products. Their participation highlighted Indonesia's rich craftsmanship, commitment to quality, and growing presence in the South African and African design markets. The exhibition provided valuable opportunities for Indonesian businesses to establish new partnerships, engage with buyers and distributors, and promote Indonesian-made products to a wider international audience.

Africa Food Show 2026

The Africa Food Show 2026, held from 10–12 June 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), concluded successfully after bringing together more than 350 exhibitors and 8,000 industry professionals from over 60 countries. The event served as a key platform for showcasing food and beverage innovations, strengthening international trade partnerships, and connecting global suppliers with African buyers. Indonesia made a strong impression through its national pavilion, organized by the Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Johannesburg, the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Cape Town, and Indobizco. As seen in the photo, Indonesian businesses showcased a range of premium food and beverage products, highlighting the country's export capabilities and commitment to expanding its presence in the African market. Overall, 12 Indonesian companies participated in the exhibition, presenting processed foods, beverages, spices, food ingredients, and other products aimed at strengthening trade ties between Indonesia and Africa.
